Here in southern New England, lately, summer seems to come in fast after a long winter and a short spring. We spend a lot of time daydreaming about the fun-in-the-sun things we will do when it gets here, especially during those cold and dreary months of winter. For the Love of Summer is a classroom project. Kindergarteners wrote about their favorite parts of summer, edited their work, then carefully illustrated their thoughts. These are all important skills for being a successful writer.
